Pakistan's Silent Workforce

An animal welfare piece I wrote for Vegan Life in partnership with equine charity Brooke. Donkeys are part of the workforce in Pakistan's network of coal mines and their lives are pretty miserable. It was a distressing story to write but thanks to Brooke, things are looking up for donkeys in developing countries all over the world.
