Me, my dad and I

In my growing series of 'family members who've let me write about them' I wrote about my unusual upbringing. As rare in the 80s as it is now, it was my dad who was my primary carer and he did a pretty good job of bringing me up, despite the fact he wasn't very good at shopping for dresses. 

This was for Prima Magazine to mark Father's Day last year and writing it brought back lots of happy, if slightly eccentric, memories!
